Welcome to our swimming club
We are a non-profit swimming club that was founded in Frankfurt-Fechenheim in 1930. The voluntary board manages and represents the club and is re-elected every two years in accordance with the statutes.
The Wasserfreunde Fechenheim offer a wide variety of swimming courses. Both recreational and competitive swimmers will find the activity that suits them in our range. The spectrum ranges from training for advanced and expert swimmers, talent development to the competitive level and masters.
In other words: your child can be a seahorse or an Olympic champion and can also be active with the water friends. Depending on the group, training takes placein Bergen-Enkheim in the Riedbad, in the indoor or outdoor pool or in the winter in the air dome,and in the garden pool in Fechenheim.
This flexibility gives us ideal training conditions all year round.
The club currently has just over 300 members, of which around 80% are children and young people. We have already been recognized by the city of Frankfurt/M for our exemplary youth work.
